    I would love to hear more about how to actually get in touch with brands you want to work with. Do you just cold call them? What should you be saying to them without it coming across as “hey I want free stuff and money!”

    Thanks for this article, gives me a much needed boost of confidence!

    totally agree with the honesty thing — being fake shines through!
    in response to comment above – I say follow them along on twitter, FB, etc and be an active commenter/sharer of their info – establish a rapport.

      I agree with you there! I am a big promoter of brands I love and it makes it easier when sending an email because hopefully they have at least heard of you!
