warwornfashion A1 Absolutely! I’m very proud of my blog – and celebrate it! I celebrate my Twitteriversary too! #blogtrends
oldgypsysoul A1 I will when I have one & I plan to celebrate more milestones too. Blogging can be fickle & it’s good to celebrate. #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A1 I like to celebrate blog milestones… And even Twitter ones. For every 100, I do a happy dance… #blogtrends

Q2 What are some other milestones you think are worth celebrating? Why? #BlogTrends

thecuriouspug A2: i think its fun to celebrate blog post milestones…like 100, or 1000 posts, etc 🙂 #blogtrends
warwornfashion A2 My Twitterversary means a lot to me because it’s the one platform that has impacted my networking and blog the most #blogtrends
rippednylon A2 Every 100th post is a goal of mine – I’m not steady on counting years, but I’d love to get to a level of consistency #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers Q2 I think sharing w/readers new projects, new achievements shows commitment to growth and goal attainment. #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A2 I don’t go too crazy w/blog post celebrations… It can come off as braggy if its done too often. #blogtrends
BattyMamzelle A2: I think milestones like 100th post or number of followers are fun as well. It’s all about what’s important to you. #blogtrends
nouvelle A2 I think it depends on your blog – great feedback, life events (depending how private/public you are), cool experiences, etc #blogtrends
oldgypsysoul A2 follower milestones are fun to celebrate as well as anything major that comes from blogging. EVERYTHING should be celebrated #blogtrends
BattyMamzelle A2: I’ve done things like projects IRL, or personal milestones. Sometimes you just want to share you personal achievements! #blogtrends
BarelyPractical I celebrated my 100th twitter follower several times. I had spammers follow me which would drop off and put me below 100. #blogtrends
justsitpretty A2: @Blog_Trends I think 100th, 500th, and 1000th follower should be celebrated on all social media platforms and so on! #blogtrends
justsitpretty A2: @Blog_Trends I recently noticed I had over 1,000 comments and I’m thinking about celebrating that in some way! #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A2 I privately celebrates my blog goals that I don’t vocalize on my blog. #blogtrends

Q3 How do you celebrate blog birthdays and other milestones? #blogtrends

warwornfashion A3 with what else? a blog post! #blogtrends
oldgypsysoul A3 Again, haven’t celebrated yet, but plan on hosting some sort of giveaway #blogtrends
BattyMamzelle A3: Very simply! Usually just an acknowledging post thanking my readers, and an awesome cupcake IRL to reward myself. #blogtrends
justsitpretty A3: I’m thinking of sharing my fave things on my blog birthday, kind of like Oprah & maybe some of my fave bloggers fave things #blogtrends
thecuriouspug A3: I like to have an awesome giveaway. One is in the works for my 3rd blogiversary next month 🙂 #blogtrends
KatiePetix A3 I like to celebrate with giveaways. the first one I did was funded by me, but now I contact companies to sponsor giveaways! #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A3 Fun photos! I try to do something a little more interesting visually. After all, I want my readers to celebrate w/me! #blogtrends
pulpsushi A3 bc it’s close to Christmas I’m planning a month-long shopping guide featuring my sponsors (don’t wanna be all ME ME ME) 🙂 #blogtrends
RhythmandRuffle A3 For my 1st I want a more intimate gathering with people who have really supported me over the year – lots of music lol #blogtrends
RhythmandRuffle A3 On the blog, special video posts and stories – a birthday give-away #blogtrends

Q4 Is it appropriate to celebrate # of followers on any of my social media profiles? Why or why not? #BlogTrends

nouvelle A4 I think so. If it makes you feel good, why not? It’s not hurting anyone and it’s celebrating your blog community. #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A4 As long as you don’t go crazy celebrating everything for no significant reason, I think it’a fun to celebrate… #blogtrends
warwornfashion A4 I don’t think the # of followers you have is cause for celebration. It’s your relationship with those followers that matters #blogtrends
thecuriouspug A4: I think its fine to, but after a while, you might loose interest in keeping track so much. #blogtrends
pulpsushi A4 I guess if you care about numbers. If I mention “I just gained my 100th follower!” I’ll immediately lose two or three lol #blogtrends
DigitalKaitlyn A4 I think followers on any platform are an accomplishment, it’s nice to say thank you once in a while! #blogtrends
pulpsushi A4 I keep track of the number of followers but that’s for my Sponsor page. I don’t really celebrate it #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A4 There’s a difference between celebrating and bragging. #blogtrends
BattyMamzelle A4: I think the catch is to not be too preoccupied with follower counts. They matter, but they don’t always reflect readership. #blogtrends
StyleXenophile A4: Absolutely! By gaining followers, you’re building a community of eclectic individuals who all share a similar interest:You! #BlogTrends
alexshook A4 I think it’s totally okay to celebrate # of followers as long as you don’t overdo it. #blogtrends
HouseOfJeffers A4 You might dissuade people if you start to tweet about “achievements” constantly. It can be viewed as showing off… #blogtrends

Q5 How should I incorporate personal celebrations on my blog? #BlogTrends

BattyMamzelle A5: I think it depends on the tone of your blog. if you’ve never been personal before, it’s probably not a good idea to start. #blogtrends
BattyMamzelle A5: but if you’ve always been personal, go for it. your readers will probably want to know. #blogtrends
lapetitepeach Q5: if your blog is “personal” then whenever you want if it’s a media outlet then only when it pertains to the regular content #BlogTrends
rippednylon A5 Personal celebrations can be anything! Dedicated posts, or even simple little photo collages on the sidebar, just own it! #BlogTrends
oldgypsysoul A5 I would love to see others answers on this since I’m a blogging newbie! #blogtrends
StyleXenophile A5: If you’ve maintained a personal undercurrent to your blog, you can celebrate as simply or as lavishly as you please #blogtrends
justsitpretty A5: @Blog_Trends one of the simplest &biggest ways to celebrate is to express your gratitude whether in tweets, posts, or pics! #blogtrends
pulpsushi A5 If you don’t want to get too personal, maybe offer a giveaway from one of your favorite shops? #blogtrends
